Question about exporting TOS options data to Excel

I have a question about exporting TOS options data to Excel, what I was wondering is if you can click "Export to Excel", initiate the  spreadsheet in Excel by pasting, then leave the options screen on TOS and go back to a chart.

Will the data keep exporting once you have pasted the link? Or do you have to stay on the TOS options screen for the export link to keep working?

I just want to initiate the the link, I don't want to have to stay on that page.

I think you have to remain on the same TOS screen for the links to keep updating. If you navigate away or close TOS it stops exporting the data.
