Does the ATR Indicator work on a 5 minute chart?

Does ATR Indicator work on a 5 minute chart? Anyone have an educated answer? The only information I can find about average true range indicator says it works best on a daily chart. I don't see why it wouldn't work on all time frames but I might be missing something.

Is ATR valuable for day trading or not...

ATR on a Daily time frame works best. I don't see value added on any other time frame. Good luck with your ATR
