Use Put/Call Ratio

Does anyone still use Put/Call Ratio in their trading? I've tried but never could get any advantage out of it.

Put/Call ratios are good to spot market sentiment but I don't think you can actually trade off the put ratio alone. This needs to be incorporated into a trading plan with other indicators and technical analysis

PutCall Ratio for the SPY is very useful to identify overall market sentiment and the put call ratio of an individual security will tell you how traders feel about it at the moment. Some of these putcall ratios are not updated in real time though, it is a daily number, I would have to look into it more for specifics

Look at the PutCall ratio at market open, use that for a starting point, then watch for changes throughout the day for changes in market sentiment. I look at PC ratios to spot changes in sentiment during the trading day.
