Are Histograms Always Green On TOS Mobile?

I've tried to color the histograms in my studies and can't get a response. They always default to green. I know the TOS mobile app has limitations so I don't get frustrated anymore. But is this normal, or is there a workaround?

In the Thinkorswim mobile app, the color of histograms can vary depending on the settings and customization options chosen by the user. You would think that the histograms in Thinkorswim would be green when representing positive values and red when representing negative values. This color scheme is commonly used to visually distinguish between positive and negative changes in volume everywhere else.

The choice of green for positive values and red for negative values is a common convention in financial charts and indicators. Green is often associated with bullish or positive movements, indicating price increases or positive changes, while red is associated with bearish or negative movements, indicating price decreases or negative changes.

The histograms in the Thinkorswim app should be capable of being customized by  users based on their preferences but they are not.

As far as I can tell, users cannot modify the volume histogram color settings to suit their own visual preferences. This should be identified as a bug to TOS.

The histograms available on the Thinkorswim platform can be helpful visually for traders and investors even if they are just green on the TOS mobile app.

A histogram is a bar chart that represents the distribution of data within a specific range. It can be used to visualize the relationship between different variables, such as price and volume, and can help traders identify patterns and trends.

By visually representing data through histograms, TOS enables traders to quickly interpret and analyze market information. I like they way they can be instantly interpreted. The color green is a limitation on the TOS app though. I would rather more than one color to make the indication more obvious at a glance.

Once you get used to the green histograms, they are not so bad. You have to mentally prepare for using a trading App and lower your expectations
